DesiColab’s WISE launched its first program at SUS Garments, Pimpri-Chinchwad, providing women with garment-making skills, entrepreneurship training, and market support to help them build sustainable, self-reliant businesses.
Pimpri-Chinchwad marked a significant milestone in women’s empowerment as DesiColab’s Women’s Initiative for Skilling & Entrepreneurship (WISE) successfully launched its inaugural program on June 13, 2026, at SUS Garments. Conceived as an inclusive incubation and entrepreneurship platform, WISE is dedicated to empowering women through industry-relevant skill development, entrepreneurial training, business mentoring, and market linkages. The initiative focuses on transforming aspiring women into confident entrepreneurs by equipping them with practical skills, business knowledge, and access to growth opportunities. Through this holistic approach, WISE seeks to foster sustainable livelihoods, promote financial independence, and create a strong network of women-led enterprises that contribute to the economic and social development of their communities.
